Czech glass artist
The work of the Czech glass artist Frantisek Vizner is deceptively simple. Vizner
explores every aspect of form, texture and colour. His work conceals a passion
which he only gradually reveals. By variations in the thickness of the glass
and matt areas he achieves smooth, rich colours and a soft gleam.
These compact
forms demonstrate Vizner's attention to proportion. No individual detail is allowed
to interrupt the harmony and rationality of his objects.
