Scandinavian design, beyond the myth

Scandinavian design is traditionally associated with simple designs, with an emphasis on functionalism and a democratic approach. The time has come to reconsider those characteristics. The exhibition focuses on Danish, Icelandic, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish design which has contributed to the formation of this identity. It is a confirmation of Scandinavian design as a significant movement in the history of design, but it also leads to discussions on the many myths and stereotypes surrounding this topic.
