Studios

From 2024, Design Museum Gent will develop an artistic programme driven by the operation of several studios. In each programme studio, a diverse and multidisciplinary team will exchange expertise around a theme and create multiple forms of output, including exhibitions. This composition is inspired by the changing way of working of designers, who increasingly rely on collaboration with other disciplines to tackle complex contemporary problems. In a similar way, the studios explore new models for programming design in relation to changing social contexts.
