Other Questions
How long will the museum close during the construction of DING?
The museum has closed its doors to the public on 7 March 2022. The grand opening of the renovated museum is planned for 2026. We will use the interim period, amongst other things, to further digitise our collections and develop a new collection presentation and website. During the closure period we will be programming extramural activities. We intend to collaborate with other museums, educational institutions and partners and exhibit our collections at other institutions. Read all about it on our page about DING.
