Grand Opening

On Saturday 3 October, Design Museum Gent is finally reopening its doors, and we’re celebrating in style! Expect a big party, free activities all over the city, and a massive dose of design.

During the opening weekend (3 and 4 October), you can visit the museum and all our exhibitions completely free of charge. Get ready for creative workshops in every corner of the building, a cozy design market in the surrounding streets, and a delicious brunch in our courtyard.

For the rest of the week, we’re heading out into the city under the banner of Design Fest Gent. Join us for a surprising trail past local studios and creative hotspots like Broei, Fluvius, Bar Edward, and Gouvernement.
