Museum Night Ghent 2016

The traditional crafts shake off their old-fashioned image at Design museum Ghent. Hands on Design shows that crafts can be fresh and progressive. Take a walk through the design process: watch design drawings and computer models. Encounter prototypes, materials and tools and discover new machines and modern technologies. You can become a piece of design yourself: have yourself scanned and scale printed by the 3D printer of Timelab. Afterwards you, together with the mini version of yourself, can have a glass of traditionally made Ghent gin “Ginderella” or you can enjoy the music by Ripple Effect.
